Assessments are formed pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, being Division 12 of the Streets and Highway Code (the "1913 Act") for the purpose of financing the cost of acquisition and/or construction by the City of Bakersfield (the "City") of certain street, water, sanitary sewer, storm, water drainage, canal bridge, traffic signal and regulated public utility infrastructure improvements and the cost to pay off existing parcel assessments confirmed pursuant to a City of Bakersfield Assessment District. |
